Synopsis |
Dylan can't remember what life is like outside his basement. Malia keeps him in her basement like a toy. On her perverted quest for Dylan's 'inner truth' she has lost reality, just like reality has lost Dylan. Dylan suffers in loneliness and suppression - until the door opens and the truth comes to light. The Truth is a movie about the Stockholm-Syndrome. Stockholm syndrome is a psychological response sometimes seen in an abducted hostage, in which the hostage shows signs of loyalty to the hostage-taker, regardless of the danger (or at least risk) in which the hostage has been placed.
